My friends and I decided to make a quick casual road trip from Bombay to Mahabaleshwar, a hill station in the thick of the Western Ghats, during this month. The trip decided that it was neither gonna be quick nor casual. With tiny waterfalls all along the way due to the monsoon, the main show began after we entered the hillier region, and I was blown away. Blown away by all this beauty that lies just hours outside of our busy city, I had no idea! It really had an undeniable Game-of-Thrones feel, dark and dreamy with all the fog. With ever thickening fog descending through the evening and making the driving so so difficult and scary, and with us making a stop at every turn to take the view in, we ended up reaching our destination quite late in the night, but we were ever so satisfied :)
